Obama's Socialism a Democratic majority in Congress will be the end of the United States of America.

I am as frustrated as many Americans because of what is going on with this election cycle. I am presently a supporter of Senator McCain.
Early on I considered Senator Obama because I was angry at George Bush. After many months and researching both candidates I switched to Senator McCain. I will not sacrifice my countries future because of the issues I have had with George Bush.
The final nail in my decision was the realization that Obama is more of a Socialist Candidate than a Democratic Candidate. That, I am afraid will lead this great nation of ours, which we all share, to a terrible end.

Are Republican's perfect? No
Are Democrats much better? No
Both parties are equally responsible for the financial mess we are in. BOTH parties have made huge mistakes. Which President do you want to correct them and get this great nation back on its feet?

Do we really want Obama's Socialist idea's to be policy?
Do you really know what Socialism is? Or do you go by what someone tells you it is. Do you read a book that some author published with his or her "opinion" about Socialism in it? Or did you research it yourself?
Have any Obama supporters been to a Socialist country?   I have, and the differences are striking.

1) The Socialism that Obama wants to bring into this wonderful and free country. Why can’t someone ask Obama the question: “Senator Obama, can you please define socialism? Is that what you want to bring to USA? Why?

Obama Socialism is not the answer for this country.

2)  The Colin Powell endorsement for Obama. The only reason Powell endorsed Obama and Powell is going to vote for him is because of his race. Nobody will dare to say it but everyone knows it. Mention the obvious and you will be labeled a "racist" In a weekend interview, Powell indicated that McCain had said that "Obama is a "Muslim" and McCain has never said that. So Colin Powell is endorsing Obama because of all the negative attacks from the McCain campaign, is he KIDDING??
What about the negative attacks on Sarah Palin's 17 year old daughter? (by the way she is not running for a political office). What about the new production of a porno film with a Sarah Palin look alike? What about the unsubstantiated accusations about McCain having an affair on the front page of the New York Times? Those are not negative in Colin Powell's mind? In my opinion his decision is based solely on race and race alone. McCain had the famous line that "Obama is a decent man and we should not be afraid of him" and took major heat from his own party for saying it. That took guts for Senator McCain to say that in front of his own supporters. I have never seen Obama do anything similar!

Some talking heads on the weekend news said that this endorsement from Colin Powell will be good for Obama and it will show that he has good associations. Ohhhhhh, now it is relevant to look at who Obama associates with but not before. But the associations with Ayers and Wright are not relevant? Associations only matter when they make a person look good?

Miscellaneous

1) I wish only those who vote for Obama would fall under his Socialist tax plan.
2) The Liberal Media, started to look into "Joe the Plumber’s" life, a nice, innocent hard-working American whose only sin was to ask Obama a simple, legitimate question. And since Obama and the Democrats cannot take any responsibility for their actions, they have to find something wrong with everybody else, and in this case it was Joe the Plumber. The media has more questions about “Joe the Plumber” than Obama!! The media is this country is selling us out!!  An interviewer recently asked an Obama spokesperson if Obama would apologize to Joe the Plumber and the spokesman said there is no reason to apologize. What has happened to this country when an American citizen asks a simple question to one of our leaders, then suddenly the citizen is made to look like the bad guy for asking it? This is absurd!!
3) Everyone is talking about how much money Obama’s campaign has. Money is not everything and think about this: Obama has 3 times (or more) more money than McCain but he is not ahead 3 times as much (in spite of 80% of the media in this country on Obama's side). Something must be terribly wrong with the Democratic candidate if he is not running away with this election by now.
4) What is going to happen to the ACORN situation? I’m afraid the fraudulent voters are going to get away cheating, and Obama will have won through fraud.
Tough Questions
Obama cannot even answer a question about abortion. He is supposed to be a graduate from Harvard, a smart eloquent speaker and his answer to the question about abortion? “It is above my pay grade”. He is a United States Senator and that question is "above his pay grade? Is that a person who deserves to be president of the
United States of America? Are people blind or what? Obama is leading people around by their noses!!

5) Obama gets a pass on EVERYTHING! People overlook everything he does whether it is mildly bad, severely bad, questionable, socialistic or close to terrorism. I am sick of hearing and seeing all these injustices.
6) How come someone can make a porno movie with a Sarah Palin look alike?
Don’t you dare make a porno movie about Michele Obama. Try and do a porno movie with a Michele Obama look alike and see what happens. The media will jump on that and it will be front page news for weeks and months to come. Republicans would be labeled every imaginable negative phrase you could possibly think of. There has been no such comment from the biased media about this at all.
I am noticing a terrible double standard in this country.

If the American public does not wake up soon this great nation will head down a path that I am afraid will be no turning back from.
