I am neither a Republican nor a Democrat. Does the majority of the country really believe that Obama is the best choice for President of the United States of America? I voted for Bush 1 in 88’, Clinton in 92 and 96, Bush 2 in 00’ and Kerry in 04’ I obviously did not vote down party lines when I voted. I voted for the candidate I thought was best for the job at that time in history. Obama will turn the United States into Socialist country similar to the countries of Europe. Obama says he wants to take my hard earned money and give it to someone else. That is a nice gesture if you are trying to buy your way into the White House but a total disaster for our country. I have worked hard to get where I am today, but now here comes Obama who says since I have worked hard all of my life and actually finally have something to show for it, it’s now time to give that success to someone else. I have never asked for help from anyone. Whatever I have is a result of hard work and determination. If I ever have money problems, I cut back on my spending and adjust my budget to meet the circumstance. I charge only what I can afford to pay off every month on my credit cards, I NEVER carry a balance. If I only have $100.00 to pay my credit card bills every month then that is all that I charge on my card. If I can’t pay my gas bill, I drop my cable service. If I miss my water bill I get rid of my cell phone. I don’t want a handout from anyone. I don’t want the government intruding in my life. I have saved money for many years and have set it aside in case I ever need it. I have enough money to last me for 6 months if I loose my job. But Obama says that now I have to give my hard earned money to people less fortunate than me. So he wants to tax me. What in the world is he thinking? A higher tax on anyone in this current economic crisis is a disaster waiting to happen. He is promising to give my money to other people in exchange for their vote. He is destroying my children's future. Money I have struggled to save for my children's education will now be taxed and given to someone else. Our country became great not through free handouts but through hard work and the desire to create a better life for ourselves. I am not basing my vote on anyone’s party affiliation, whether or not they speak well and draw huge crowds, what race they represent, or how many years they spent in a prison camp or if they are a man or woman. Has the Bush Presidency been successful? Only history will tell us that. Did the Republican led Congress from 2000 to 2004 do us any favors? That is highly debatable. Has the Democratic controlled Congress from 2004 to the present done much better? I don’t think so, their approval rating is worse than Bush’s. I am not a big fan of George Bush, I am even less of a fan of Obama. McCain is the only one that can straighten this out.  With 80% of the media dancing on the sidelines for Obama in their cheerleading outfits something has to be wrong. The media is corrupt; I wouldn’t trust them to take out my trash. I truly believe that if Winnie the Pooh was on the Democratic ticket, there are people that would actually vote for him just because he is on the Democratic Ticket. The issues would not matter, Winnie the Pooh is a good "speaker".  If Speed Racer was on the Republican ticket there are just as many who would vote for Speed Racer, for no other reason than the party affiliation. Read between the lines, If Obama wins he will ruin this country. Socialism is not the answer! America wake up before it is too late! Barack Obama is not the answer this time. The thought of an Obama Presidency is terrifying. With all of these bailouts and giveaways we are rapidly slipping towards Socialism. With a Democratic President who embraces Socialism and a Democratic majority in Congress our fate will be sealed. Our country will never be the same again. The United States of America will slip into obscurity and never ending taxes. We will never recover.
